Client: White Rose Holiday Park
White Rose Holiday Park needed a new website built and designed for their caravan park in North Yorkshire. Prior to appointing Michael Paul Consultancy the company had little online presence with a poorly built website that just wasn’t cutting the mustard. The family owned business realised they needed to invest in a website in order to successfully continue the businesses growth and development.
The primary objective of the website was to generate interest in caravans for sale on the park as well as generate holiday bookings for their seasonal touring pitches and self-catering cottages.
Michael Paul Consultancy took the old website down and began again from scratch. A new and improved logo was designed and a photoshoot with one of our trusted contacts was arranged with the park. In the meantime, we worked with the client to come up with a site map and content plan. The client was then sent some sample website layouts and upon approval we began to work on drafting the content as well as building and designing the rest of the website.
It was noted during the initial stages of the project that the client needed to be able to update the website on a regular basis so we included a custom built CMS system meaning the client could keep details of caravans for sale or prices up to date without the need for intervention from a third party.
The client was delighted with the finished article and compared us favourably with their previous experience with a web developer. The park has since reported that the seasonal touring pitches are now fully booked for the season and the enquiry rate for caravan sales has increased as a direct consequence of the new website.
